So long, blond!

Ahead of her Resident Evil role reprisal, Ali Larter has ditched her buttery tresses in favor of a fiery red ‘do. The new mom stepped out in Los Angeles yesterday flaunting her new auburn locks (and flawless blowout, mind you), and not long after took to Instagram to give praise to her trusted hair stylist, Tracey Cunningham.

“My love for this girl is next level. I’ve been working with@traceycunningham1 for over 10 years,” she captioned the sweet Instagram candid. “This is the 3rd time she has taken me red to play #claireredfield from Mexico to Toronto to Capetown lady!”

Returning to play badass Claire Redfield after nearly a six year break, the 39-year-old natural blond looks, well, more like a natural redhead with the revamped shade. Not that we’re surprised—the hair chameleon has rocked a ginger tint many times in the past, meaning she’s had plenty practice sporting the vibrant shade.

What’s more, she’s not the only actress who’s ditched her blond locks to play a redhead as of late, with Scarlett Johansson also getting a bold hair makeover for her Black Widow alter ego.

What do you think of Ali’s new hair color? Sound off below!
